Sales Policy

As Akasya Çocuk Dünyası A.Ş. (“Kidzania”), our goal is to ensure that you purchase your tickets as soon as possible and in the easiest way. We have designed our Sales Policy below to satisfy you as a customer and inform you about the purchasing process at https://istanbul.kidzania.com. This Sales Policy also forms part of our Terms of Use. We state that by purchasing tickets from our website, you will be deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to the provisions of the Sales Policy, and in case you have a request or complaint contrary to the provisions of the sales policy, we recommend that you apply to the helpline at 0850 200 54 39 before purchasing any tickets.

Terms and Conditions Related to Admission Rights

1. The person who purchases the admission right declares and undertakes that they have purchased the admission right solely for personal use without any commercial purpose, and will not use it for any commercial business or activity, except with the explicit written consent of KidZania Istanbul. For example, the purchased admission right cannot be sold to third parties in any way, the sale of the admission right cannot be offered for an additional fee or otherwise; the purchased admission right cannot be used for promotional or other commercial purposes, including advertising, competitions, and sweepstakes. The sale or attempt to sell the admission right at a price higher than the price written on it constitutes a justified reason for the confiscation and/or cancellation of the admission right without any refund or other claims.

2. Akasya Çocuk Dünyası A.Ş. determines the maximum number of admission rights per person for events. The purpose of this practice is to prevent unfair admission right purchases.

3. Admission rights are sold through the website, mobile application, authorized agencies, third-party companies authorized by KidZania, and sales counters at KidZania entrances. Since all sales channels access the same admission right pool, admission rights for events may quickly run out. In some cases, additional admission rights may be put on sale, but we cannot guarantee this.

4. Admission rights purchased through the mobile application, authorized agencies, website, and KidZania sales counters can be stored electronically and contain a barcode that may be valid within the Kidzania system, and it is your responsibility to control and safeguard them.

5. KidZania Istanbul may suspend, change, or cancel its events or admissions for various reasons. Kidzania determines the procedure to be applied in such cases and announces it through the website, mobile application, and social media accounts. However, we cannot make any commitments and/or guarantees that admission right holders will be informed of the cancellation or change before the event date. Additionally, KidZania Istanbul manages its events according to the operational capacity it determines daily. Purchased annual cards, 3-month cards, or gifted admission rights (admission rights) do not guarantee reservations in case of capacity fullness.

6. As a rule, all admission right sales are final. Except for force majeure and event cancellation, admission right sales are final; after the sales transaction, admission right cancellations, changes, new admission right printing, or refunds are not made. Except for the cancellation of the event, sold admission rights are not canceled, changed, or refunded in any way after the sales transaction. Refund amounts are limited to the fee written on the purchased admission right and the relevant service fee per admission right, and it is not possible to request any transaction fee or other additional fees. To refund the admission right amount for canceled and postponed events, you must personally apply to KidZania sales counters. You can find more information about canceled or changed events on our website.

7. Entry and exits to Kidzania are made according to the rules and regulations determined by Akasya Çocuk Dünyası A.Ş. Generally, after the admission right control, if you leave, you cannot re-enter Kidzania. Akasya Çocuk Dünyası cannot guarantee the admission of latecomers.

8. If you want to get information about the admission right purchase process, you can call Customer Service with the reference number we provided while completing your transaction.

9. Annual and Periodic Cards: The Annual or 3-Month Card becomes active as of the day it is purchased. The usage period is one year or three months, and it is valid only for child visitors aged 4-14. Accompanying adult entries are subject to an additional fee. Annual or Periodic Cards are not valid during semester breaks, mid-term holidays, and public holidays. KidZania Periodic Cards can only be used by children aged 4-14. The Periodic Card provides unlimited admission rights for "THREE MONTHS" or "ONE YEAR" depending on the card type, except for semester breaks, mid-term holidays, and public holidays. The card becomes active immediately after purchase. The validity period of the card starts from the day it is purchased, and unused months cannot be transferred. Only the person whose information is on the card can enter KidZania with the card. Identification is required during entry. If the cardholder is under 7 years old, they can enter with an accompanying adult. Children over 7 years old can enter the park alone after being delivered to KidZania by an adult. The cardholder child does not pay any fees for park entry during their membership. However, the card cannot be used individually for school group entries. The cardholder can receive only one check worth 50 KidZos per day when visiting the park. The card does not grant any priority or special service rights in activity areas. However, it may provide various advantages in paid services at KidZania. In case of capacity fullness, no priority is provided for the cardholder visitor. The park may not admit entry due to event cancellation or fullness. This situation is under the internal control of KidZania, and visitors will be informed about alternative solutions. In case of loss of the card, a new one can be obtained for a fee determined by KidZania Istanbul. The fee is determined based on the current pricing.

Merchandise (Merch) Product Sales

10- KidZania offers merchandise (merch) products associated with certain events, brands, or campaigns. The products will be presented in line with the descriptions and visuals provided by KidZania, and the details, prices, and features of the products will be specified during the sale.

11- You can order the products under the conditions specified on the website. These terms and conditions will apply to merchandise product purchases and related services. By purchasing these products, the buyer is deemed to have accepted all conditions. Each purchased merch product is subject to the terms specified in this contract.

12- The prices of merchandise products will be paid based on the prices specified by the buyer during the order, and VAT and other legal taxes may be included in the prices of the products. Payment will be made using the specified payment methods. If payment is not made and/or completed after the order is completed, the order will be canceled.

13- The seller undertakes to deliver the merchandise products within the specified period following the buyer's order. The delivery period may vary depending on the stock status of the products and the delivery address. Delivery will be made through a cargo or delivery company, and the buyer is advised to check the condition of the product during delivery. KidZania cannot be held responsible for any delivery delays caused by: (i) events or circumstances arising from "force majeure", (ii) the buyer's failure to fulfill or delay in fulfilling their obligations, (iii) actions or delays of Public Authorities, even if they are not the result of "force majeure" events; (iv) actions or delays of KidZania's suppliers. In such cases, the delivery period is extended by the duration of the obstacle.

14- The buyer can return the received merchandise products within 14 days, provided they are unused, with tags not removed, and in their original packaging. However, products that cannot be returned, such as personalized designs, special productions, or hygienic products, are excluded from this condition. Refunds for returned products will be made according to the relevant payment method.

15- The seller guarantees the quality of the merchandise products. However, malfunctions caused by natural wear, misuse, or damage are excluded from the warranty. In case of any defect related to the product, the buyer is obliged to notify the seller, and the seller will provide a solution after conducting the necessary examinations.

16- The designs, brands, and contents of the merchandise products are protected by intellectual property rights owned by KidZania or relevant third parties. The buyer can only purchase these products for personal use and has no right to resell, reproduce, or use them for commercial purposes in any way.

17- The buyer is obliged to notify the seller immediately of any deficiencies or damages during the delivery of the merchandise products.

18- These terms and conditions are subject to Turkish Law.

General Rules

The admission fee covers access to all activity areas, excluding Food and Beverage Areas, paid services, Gift Shop Sales Points, Bache and Friends' Club Usage, Paid Activities (specific events and special activities), and products at the Photo Sales Point. During admissions at the airport, both the child visitor and the accompanying adult are given wristbands, so an adult must accompany the child during admission. Admission rights cannot be refunded or changed. KidZania Istanbul reserves the right to change working hours without prior notice. Visitors under the age of 7 can only enter KidZania Istanbul with an accompanying adult. Adults accompanying visitors under the age of 7 must remain inside KidZania Istanbul until the visitor leaves KidZania Istanbul. Adults must have a visitor aged 0-14 with them to enter KidZania Istanbul. Child visitors who have entered cannot leave KidZania Istanbul, even for a short time. Adults accompanying visitors can temporarily leave KidZania Istanbul if the child visitor they are accompanying is 7 years old or older. During exit procedures, adults must be present in the exit area with the child visitors they are accompanying. Lost or stolen checks and KidZos cannot be replaced or refunded. Wristbands are specially defined in the system for the individuals they are attached to. They cannot be transferred to other visitors and cannot be removed from the wrist for security reasons. Food, beverages, weapons, and pets cannot be brought into KidZania Istanbul. Unauthorized announcements, brochures, etc., are not allowed to be distributed inside KidZania Istanbul. Child visitors and their accompanying adults must be respectful and polite to other visitors. Smoking and chewing gum are prohibited inside KidZania Istanbul. Visitors with allergies must inform the authorities. Boarding passes are for single use only; the same boarding pass cannot be used for multiple entries. KidZania Istanbul is not responsible for lost or stolen items. For the safety of our visitors and the comfort of other guests, the use of cameras, mobile phones, and other audio/visual recording devices is only allowed in areas and under rules determined by KidZania Istanbul. Filming may not be allowed in special events, activities involving children, or certain stage areas. For detailed information, please follow the information boards at the entrance or our staff. Due to our food safety, hygiene, and allergen management policies, bringing food and beverages from outside is not allowed. This practice is in place to protect the health of all our visitors and the reliability of the food and beverage services offered within the facility. Various and safe options are offered for children and families in the food and beverage areas within KidZania. KidZania Istanbul does not accept any responsibility for the security of personal belongings of visitors within the facility. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you keep your valuables with you, store them in a way that is not easily accessible, and be careful in tracking children's personal belongings. You can get support from the information points for lost or forgotten items.

Special health conditions or special needs of child visitors must be reported to us before admission. KidZania Istanbul has no legal responsibility for any adverse events that may occur without this notification. Issues such as allergies, chronic diseases, and the need for special devices must be communicated to the authorized personnel.

In case of any disputes arising from admission rights or product purchases made through authorized agencies or third parties, KidZania Istanbul can only be held liable to the extent of its own fault. In such cases, it is recommended to contact the intermediary institution directly.

The conditions related to campaigns, promotions, discounts, and advantageous sales offered by KidZania will be announced separately, and such special sales may be subject to different rules from our general sales policy. Your right to return, change the date, or cancel the products and admission rights within the scope of the campaign may be limited; these issues will be specified in the campaign conditions. Promotion codes are only valid for the specified period and conditions, and cannot be transferred or converted into cash.

Gift cards or digital codes offered by us can only be used within the specified period, and unused rights become invalid at the end of the period and cannot be refunded. Gift cards can be transferred to other people but cannot be resold. KidZania has no responsibility for the loss, theft, or misuse of the card or code by third parties.

If you purchase admission rights or merch products through our website or mobile application, you may be asked to create a user account. You are solely responsible for the security of the username, password, and other access information of your account. KidZania Istanbul does not accept any responsibility for damages arising from the unauthorized use of your account or the acquisition of your information by third parties. If you notice any suspicious activity, you should immediately contact Customer Service.

KidZania Istanbul cannot be held responsible for any damages arising from technical failures, software or hardware errors, interruptions or malfunctions caused by third-party payment systems. In the services we offer through our website, mobile application, or sales counters, we are not liable for direct, indirect, or incidental damages, except for cases of clear fault attributable to us.

In the event of partial or complete non-performance of our service due to force majeure events such as natural disasters, war, terrorist attacks, epidemics, administrative measures taken by official authorities, strikes, lockouts, infrastructure and internet outages, and power failures that are not caused by us and were not foreseeable, our liability will not arise. In such cases, no compensation will be paid to you, and reservation or product delivery times may be extended by the duration of the force majeure.

As KidZania Istanbul, we place the utmost importance on the security of your personal data. The personal data you share during the purchasing process is processed by us as the data controller within the scope of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"). Your personal data will be processed solely for the purpose of carrying out the sales process, providing customer service support, and fulfilling our legal obligations. You can access detailed information through our Privacy Policy and exercise your rights under Article 11 of the KVKK at any time.

Activity Area Rules

Adults accompanying child visitors cannot be present in the activity area. The Parents Lounge is for the use of adults, and child visitors and babies cannot be in this area. Some activity areas may have different operating hours. Age, height, and weight restrictions may apply in some activity areas for the safety of visitors. Photographing and video recording for advertising purposes are prohibited within the activity areas. KidZania Istanbul has the right to use the photographs, videos, and audio recordings taken in the area free of charge. Some activity areas may be temporarily closed for birthday parties, celebrations, or special events. Some sales and activity areas may be closed for use due to technical maintenance and renovation work carried out without prior notice. Adults cannot queue in front of activity areas on behalf of child visitors. Supervisors have the right to warn the adult in such a case and not to admit the child visitor to the activity area if the adult insists on entering together. KidZos payment and collection amounts may vary according to activity areas.
