Like all great stories, KidZania's story begins with a passion and unwavering desire to create something better for society.
Once upon a time, children all over the world were contemplating how adults lived and how they used the world's resources. Unlike previous generations, they were deeply concerned with global issues. Topics like the environment, global warming, and social equality fascinated them. Children began to worry about the world they would inherit.
While all this was happening, children, disregarding racial, religious, and cultural differences, came together to create something better. A desire for a well-functioning, ideal world emerged. This would be a place where children wanted to be. A place without borders, full of opportunities… A place where children could make their own decisions…
Finally, a new country was established with its own history, national identity, economy, and culture. They named this country KidZania, meaning "An Extraordinary Children's Land." Over time, the borders of this country, founded on the principle that "learning through experience is every child's right," have expanded to encompass the entire world.
In building this new world, children realized the need to document their ideas and desire for independence, and they began by defining six fundamental rights: to exist, to learn, to be creative, to share, to care, and to play.
These rights are not just words at KidZania; they form the cornerstones of preparing for the real world and achieving happiness. Each right is protected by KidZania's rights advocates.
