1. Is there any visitor restriction for visits?

KidZania Istanbul was established in Akasya, within 10 thousand square meters, to serve families with children between the ages of 0-14. We instantly follow the number of people inside. We will host only 40% of our capacity in our city during the term of controlled social life.

2. What is your working hours?

Tuesday-Sunday: 11:00 -19:00 Monday: Closed

3. What precautions have you taken to protect physical distance in the city?

  • Social distance rule is applied beginning from our entrance on the dining floor located on the top floor in Akasya. Activity, resting and waiting areas and toilets were arranged in accordance with the new norm within the framework of this rule.
  • Techno (strip) barriers are placed for social distance in some activities with the minimum contact principle.
  • Theatre is arranged with minimum an empty seat between all seats.
  • Visuals that suggest space for at least four steps between people are placed on the escalators.
  • Visitor elevators can only be used by disabled people and pregnant women, and a maximum of 2 people can take. Determiners were put in places where two people would stand. Foot pedals are installed for non-contact elevator use.
  • Social distance rules are arranged to cover shopping, eating and drinking areas and seating.

4. What do you do if a visitor does not want to wear a mask in KidZania Istanbul?

According to the circular issued by the Turkish Ministry of Interior, it is mandatory to wear a mask. We request you to wear your mask as stated for the health of you and our other visitors.

5. How many times is the city cleaned per day?

Our city is regularly disinfected with the nano silver technology service of the company certified by the Ministry of Health.

6. Money exchange is not hygienic, will there be a different alternative for children inside?

KidZos were cleaned with nano silver technology before using like all other materials in the city. KidZos are quarantined to be disinfected with nano silver technology at the end of the day. Also; We encourage contactless use by giving our KidZos bank card to every visitor for keeping you stay safe. The bank cards to be issued  individually while entering KidZania. Cash KidZos that visitors earn from their previous visits are added to bank cards at the bank.

7. Why can't we use safety cabinets?

Due to our hygiene rules, we have temporarily stopped our safety cabinets.

8. How do you provide the fresh air at KidZania?

By providing 100% fresh air in our city, healthy air conditioning is made in ventilation system. The city owns 99.9% protection against bacteria and viruses using the technology by NASA for using to filter air in space stations and vehicles. Hava kanalları UV cihazlarla kapsamlı olarak dezenfeksiyon işlemi yapılır. Air ducts are throughly disinfected with UV devices.

9. Do you have any certificates regarding cleaning and hygiene?

Our city is regularly disinfected with the nano silver technology service of the company that is certified by the Turkish Ministry of Health. You can reach our certificate.

10. Can we use the highchair, wheelchair and stroller services?

According to “Outbreak Management and Working Guide” that is prepared by the Ministry of Health; high chair, wheelchair and stroller services are temporarily stopped.

11. Will there be any birthday party organizations?

Our birthday organizations are made in our stadium activity area, tables are fixed in accordance with social distance and hygiene rules.

12. How do you organize the entries at KidZania?

Entries to our city are made from our door in the Akasya Food Court, in accordance with the entrance standards of Akasya Mall. At the entrance of KidZania, everyone's (all staff included) fever measurement made by our healthcare professional. It is recommended that the person / persons with a fever higher than 38 degrees not allowed to enter KidZania and suggest to apply to the relevant health institutions. Visitors who do not have a mask are not allowed to enter inside.

13. Are your RFID bracelets disposable? How many people use the same bracelet during the day?

RFID bracelets are single use. They are used by only one person during the day. They are placed in quarantine boxes and stored after each usage. All our bracelets are regularly disinfected with the nano silver technology service of the company that is certified by the Ministry of Health. Bracelet will be disinfected again in front of your eyes while presenting to you for keeping you stay safe.

14. Are there any health workers for any emergency?

We have 10 certified staff from the first aid training center authorized by the Ministry of Health in our city.

15. Are the sitting and resting areas suitable for social distance?

Our sitting and resting areas have been renewed according to social distance rule.

16. What kind of precautions do you have for toilets?

Toilets are fixed in accordance with social distance rules. Hand drying devices in the toilets are canceled and a disposable paper towel system is applied. Taps and soap dispensers are equipped with sensors. The outer door of the toilets are removed and minimum contact was provided. Toilets are cleaned regularly.

17. How hygienic is the baby care room?

The baby care room is cleaned after each usage.

18. How will you adjust the social distance between children?

All our activity areas have been renewed in accordance with social distance. Our Zupervisor * in the activity area and our coordinators constantly control the social distance in our city.

There are barriers and colorful warning visuals and social distance messages throughout the city. Zupervisors accompany our visitors in activities. In KidZania language, Zupervisor means supervisor.

19. Is there any attention to social distance while waiting for activity?

 Based on "Outbreak Management and Working Guide" that is prepared by the Ministry of Health, waiting areas have visual and techno barriers in accordance with the rule of at least one and a half meters.

20. Will the doors remain open at the entrance of activity?

Activity doors are always open and door handles are removed. So that, contactless entry and exit are provided.

21. How do you provide hygiene in activty areas?

Our city is regularly disinfected with the nano silver technology service of the company that is certified by the Ministry of Health. Hat, helmet and profession costumes which use in the activities are disposable. General hygiene cleaning is made with cleaning materials that is approved by the Ministry of Health in activity areas after each activity.

22. How hygienic are the uniforms that children wear?

Hat, helmet and profession costumes which use in the activities are disposable. They are placed in the quarantine area to be disinfected after usage. Costumes are cleaned with a steam machine at the end of the day, sent to dry cleaning to get cleaned with high heat every weekend.

23. Will the food sales areas be opened?

Food sales areas are reorganized based on  "Outbreak Management and Working Guide" that is prepared by the Ministry of Health. Our staff continue to serve in these areas with mask, visor and gloves. Social distance rule is applied at seating & waiting areas and payment points.

24. How do you check health conditions of your staff?

The fever of all staff are measured during the entry to Akasya Mall. Staff who do not comply with entry standards are directed to health institutions. In addition, staff's fever is measured again at the entrance to KidZania office section. By scanning the QR code on the welcome desk with their mobile phones, staff will confirm that they are healthy, and this declaration is filled regularly at the entrance every day.

25. How often staff change their masks?

Based on "Outbreak Management and Working Guide" that is prepared by the Ministry of Health, staff change their masks every 3 hours in accordance with hygiene rules.

26. Do staff own individual mask and visor?

All visors and masks are individual in our city. The same visor is never worn by a few people and our masks are changed at regular intervals.

27. Do staff pay attention to social distance while working?

Our staff have completed their trainings within the new normal framework and work in accordance with social distance in our city.

28. How will the supervisor use a mask for hearing impaired visitors? How will the visitor communicate when they can not see the mouth movements?

Our supervisors have completed their sign language training. Adequate communication can be made with hand gestures.
